🇮🇳 80th Independence Day Celebrations at Head Office, Guntur

The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic fervour at the Head Office, Brodipet, Guntur.

The programme was graced by Honorable Chairman Shri K. Pramod Kumar Reddy, Shri Harish Betha, Vigilance In-charge, Chief Executive Officers, General Managers, HoDs and Head Office staff. Ex-servicemen working in the Bank conducted a ceremonial parade and paid a respectful salute to the National Flag. Chairman sir unfurled the National Flag and addressed the gathering.

In his message, sir highlighted that banking is not merely a business activity but a responsibility to serve rural and underprivileged communities. He emphasised the role of RRBs in advancing Viksit Bharat and Swarna Andhra@2047, strengthening financial inclusion and ensuring last-mile delivery of banking services. He also highlighted the vital role of youth in nation-building.

Referring to the Bank's progress after the amalgamation of four erstwhile RRBs, he noted that the Bank's business has grown by approximately ₹21,000 crore during the past one year, appreciating the collective efforts and dedication of the staff.

Shri Harish Betha, Vigilance In-charge, highlighted the significance of the Tricolour and emphasised the values of courage, prosperity, transparency and growth, along with integrity and accountability, in strengthening public trust in the Bank.

The celebrations concluded with a renewed commitment to nation-building, inclusive growth, rural development and dedicated service to the people.
