On February 13, 2026, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) imposed monetary penalties totaling ₹1.35 crore on five financial entities, including three banks and two non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), for various regulatory violations.

Breakdown of RBI Penalties (February 13, 2026):

- **CSB Bank Limited**: ₹63.60 lakh
- Non-compliance with Business Correspondent (BC) scope
- Customer service issues
- Failure to classify restructured accounts as non-performing assets (NPAs)

- **Bank of Maharashtra**: ₹32.50 lakh
- Failure to report member-level data for Self Help Groups (SHGs) to credit companies
- KYC lapses in identifying beneficial owners

- **DCB Bank Limited**: ₹29.60 lakh
- Failing to maintain the prescribed Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratio for non-agricultural gold loans

- **IIFL Finance Limited**: ₹5.30 lakh
- Issues with asset classification norms, specifically failing to classify certain restructured accounts as NPAs

- **Navi Finserv Limited**: ₹3.80 lakh
- Violation of recovery agent guidelines, including contacting customers at prohibited hours (after 7 PM and before 8 AM)

These penalties reflect deficiencies in regulatory compliance and are not intended to affect the validity of any transactions or agreements these entities have with their customers.
