As per the GST portal’s data policy, return data will only be retained for **7 years**. After this period, the data will no longer be available for viewing on the portal.

Starting **01st October 2024**, the data of **September 24, 2017** will be archived. This will be a monthly activity, so ensure you save and back up any important information from your GST records before it is no longer accessible!

📢 **GST Update Alert by Aanya Account Solutions**

The government has reduced the threshold for reporting inter-state taxable supplies to unregistered dealers from ₹2.5 Lakhs to ₹1 Lakh. Be sure to report this in **Table 5 of GSTR-1** and **Table 6 of GSTR-5**. The new functionality will be available on the GST portal soon, but until then, continue reporting supplies over ₹2.5 Lakhs as usual.
