Medi Classic Insurance Policy (Individual) has been revised (Revised UIN number - SHAHLIP23037V072223) with the following changes,
which will come into effect from 22/07/2022. This revision is applicable for POS Medi Classic Product also.
1) Increase in Premium.
2) Change in Method of Installment premium (i.e., if Instalment facility is opted for 2 year or 3 year term policies,
the full premium applicable for 2 year or 3 year terms should be paid either quarterly or half yearly within the expiry of the first year).
Effective date of Implementation
*For Fresh Proposals, the revised product will be offered from 22.07.2022*
For Renewal Proposals,
*Renewals falling between -- 22.07.2022 and 21.10.2022 – Customer will have an option to renew either under Existing product or Revised Medi Classic Insurance Product*.
*Renewals falling on or after -- 22.10.2022 – Customer will have to mandatorily renew under Revised Medi Classic Insurance Product only*.
