We are honoured to be a featured case study in UN Tourism’s global report, Breaking Barriers: Good Practices in Accessible Tourism and Inclusive Employment.

This is not just recognition of our trips, it is recognition of an idea: that travel designed for everyone creates richer, more meaningful experiences for all.

The report highlights Planet Abled as a model for customised accessible travel- one that goes beyond single-disability solutions to serve people with mobility, hearing, visual, cognitive, psychosocial impairments, neurodivergent people, senior citizens- all travelling together, on equal terms.

This case study also highlights the tools we use to make culture and destinations truly accessible for all, and the training and consulting we provide to destinations, hotels, travel agents, and museums worldwide.

We are grateful to every traveller, partner, and team member who has helped build this.

Most travel designers are unknowingly leaving a billion-dollar market untapped.
Travelers with disabilities are ready to explore the world- they just need someone who knows how to plan for them. And that gap? It is YOUR opportunity.

Planet Abled is inviting you to our live training workshop, led by our founder, Neha Arora. This training is designed especially for travel designers who want to step into the growing and deeply rewarding space of accessible travel.

Through this workshop, you will learn how to-
1. Communicate effectively to know the traveler's needs
2. Plan with precision
3. Prioritize safety
4. Deliver travel experiences that go beyond the ordinary.
And so much more...

We will also provide ready-to-use resources and expert guidance every step of the way for a year after the training.

Join us on 25th and 26th June, 9 AM - 11 AM CET, with a small group of like-minded travel designers. We wish to keep this session personal, hence we will only have 6-8 people per training. This will make it easier for you to ask questions, share your challenges, and get access to tools that you can use right away!

The people who act now will define what accessible travel looks like. Are you in?

P.S. This session is for people comfortable with the CET and IST time zones, but we will be announcing another session for those in the EST time zone soon.

They came as travelers. They left with stories and memories to be told for years to come. And a plan to return again soon.

South India has a way of staying with you- in the smell of fresh spices, the echo of temple bells, the quiet awe of walking through ancient heritage sites, the warmth of locals who welcomed them into their world, and the stillness of the backwaters at dawn. We were just lucky enough to be part of their journey.

Imagine waking up before sunrise, stepping into a safari jeep with your group, and watching the African bush come alive around you. Elephants crossing your path. Lions resting in the golden grass. A sky so wide and so full of colour it doesn’t look real. Now imagine doing all of that with a group of people who truly get it, where accessibility isn’t an afterthought, it’s the entire plan.

That’s exactly what 20th-28th July, 2026 looks like with Planet Abled in South Africa.

Some trips give you a nice holiday. This one will give you a story you’ll spend the rest of your life telling. So book your spot now before the slots fill up!

While you’re deciding your next travel plan-

Someone ELSE just booked the last window seat on a flight to Bali.
Someone ELSE is about to get THAT rice terrace photo.
Someone ELSE is going to taste the best satay of their life at a beachside warung.
Someone ELSE will watch the Kecak fire dance at Uluwatu as the sun melts into the Indian Ocean.
Someone ELSE will wake up to jungle sounds and temple bells and wonder why they didn’t come sooner.

And you? Still scrolling. Still saving Bali photos to a folder called “one day.”

YOUR ONE DAY IS HERE!!

Today we celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD)- a day started in 2012 to spark conversations about accessibility and encourage practical change. GAAD reminds us that inclusion covers digital spaces, physical places, and the way services are delivered.

At Planet Abled we celebrate GAAD by training partners, co-designing itineraries with travellers, sharing real stories, and running awareness sessions that turn empathy into action.

Comment your biggest accessibility challenge and we’ll share a free tip or resource to help you get started. Want a workshop to make your services accessible? DM us.

People often think about accessibility and inclusion only when disability becomes personal.
We strongly believe accessibility should be the norm, not a reaction to a personal situation.
