VC Circle (vertical of Hindustan Times & Mint) had organised VC, PE conference at JW Marriott,Sahar, Mumbai on February 24th,2026. Shri. Saravana kumar, CEO & Director, NVCFL was the panelist. The title of the panel discussion was "Institutional capital & Fund of Funds: Powering the next cycle of Alternative investments". I am SME of India, a leading SME industry association had organised SRI Fund's Outreach event at DLF Camellias, Gurugram on November 19th, 2025. Shri. Saravana kumar, CEO & Director, NVCFL was the Key note speaker. He highlighted the role of SRI Fund's contribution to the Indian MSME industry.

Secondly, there was a panel discussion on VC, PE Fund's contribution to the Indian MSME sector. Mr.Kumar highlighted the various Venture capital (VC) schemes including SRI Fund that were promoted by GoI. The above said conclave was participated by MSME entrepreneurs from north India.

- Tribal Business conclave was jointly organised by Ministry of Industry & Commerce , Ministry of Tribal affairs and Ministry of Culture on November 12, 2025 at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi.Director & CEO of NVCFL had participated for the above said conclave & discussed SRI Fund's contribution to the MSME industry, employment generation in tier 2,3 geography. He highlighted on women empowerment and SRI fund's contribution to the needy section of society. The Panel discussion moderator was Ms.Himani Pandey IAS, Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. Other panelists were Mr Baskar Bhat (Trustee of Tata Trust, which manages 180 Tata group companies & earlier Chairman & MD of Titan industries) and Mr.Ashank Desai,CMD of Mastek Ltd & Chair of Incubator at IIT- Bombay & Ex Chairman NASSCOM.

The Self-Reliant India (SRI) Fund, the sovereign Fund of Funds for MSME growth alongwith Government of J&K, organised an outreach event at Srinagar on 1st November’2025. The event was aimed at connecting startups and MSME entrepreneurs of J& K with venture capital firms and institutional investors. The event was graced by Lieutenant Governor Sh. Manoj Sinha, Jammu and Kashmir, as the Chief Guest. Shri.Ateesh Singh, Joint Secretary, MSME Ministry & Govt. of India Director in the NVCFL Board had delivered a Key note speech at Tamil Nadu Global Start-up summit on October 10th,2025 at Coimbatore. In the same event, Shri. Saravana kumar, CEO & Director, NVCFL had delivered a Key note speech on the SRI Fund. The event was organised by the Tamil Nadu Government. Mr.Kumar had highlighted the role of SRI Fund contribution to the MSME industry in Tamil Nadu as well across India. NSIC Venture Capital Fund Limited (NVCFL) organized a Self-Reliant India (SRI) Fund Outreach Program at Bhubaneshwar (Odisha) on 19.08.2025 and provided a platform for the empanelled daughter funds of SRI Fund to reach to the MSMEs in the state of Odisha. Sh. Saravana Kumar (Director & CEO)-NVCFL welcomed the Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Acharya, CMD , NSIC & Chairman, NVCFL and other dignitaries. Smt Aboli Sunil Narvane, IAS Director of Industries, Govt of Odisha and Smt Nitisha Mann, IES, Deputy Director MSME-DFO Cuttack, was the guest of Honour for this program. About 25 empanelled daughter funds (Venture Capital Funds) attended this program to educate the MSMEs about Venture Capital Industry and the role of SRI fund. There were approx.. more than 125 entrepreneurs from the MSME of Odisha State. This program helped the MSMEs in Odisha to interact with the Venture Capital Funds (daughter funds) and reap the benefits through capital infusion in scaling up their business.
