I am pleased to welcome Prof BEJON MISRA. to the ASPA community as Honorary Member.
Prof. Misra is a renowned consumer policy expert, author, and thought leader with over five decades of professional experience. A pioneer of India’s consumer movement, he has dedicated more than 40 years to advancing consumer education, advocacy, and policy development.
He has worked extensively with global institutions such as WHO, World Bank, UNDP, and UNICEF, contributing to consumer protection frameworks and quality management systems across developing economies. He has also played a significant role in shaping key Indian legislations, including the Consumer Protection Act, the Food Safety & Standards Act, and the Real Estate Regulation Act.
An award-winning professional and bestselling author, Prof. Misra continues to actively contribute to policy discourse, patient safety, and consumer empowerment, both in India and globally.
We believe his vast experience and deep insights will be invaluable for ASPA, and his guidance can further strengthen our collective efforts towards consumer awareness, authentication, and brand protection.
