Dreamerger - DreaMerger is an event which is annually organized by the Finance and Investment Cell. This year we had entries from all over the country as we took the competition onto a national level. The competition comprises of a preliminary round wherein you have to solve a case study based on a financial problem. Those who qualify for the next round have to p
resent a presentation to a panel of judges in which they merge two real world companies of their choice and justify the same with suitable reasons. The event is a great learning experience, a chance to experiment with the real world to make it the way you want to see it! " is what the DreaMerger is about! Das Capital - National Finance Festival organized in February every year wich various sub events like Finatic, Joesph's Bid, Brainstorming etc. Financial Knights - Financial Knights is a corporate strategy game developed by the members of F&IC. In this game each team assumes the role of a CEO in a company. Each company is free to foray into a variety of sectors namely realty, transportation, retail etc. Each sector itself offers a variety of investment options. Along with this a company can also raise capital by an IPO. The companies must try to balance their investments in each sector and try to maximize their profits. This year this game was played with 6 teams for 6 rounds after which Pranati and Pooja were declared the winners. This year the realty sector turned out to be the jackpot for most teams and returns in this sector were through the roof.
