ence. MilitarytoCorporate-M2C (www.militarytocorp.com) is a leading, niche and first of its kind of a consulting firm in India that focuses purely on veteran hiring (officers, junior and non commissioned officers, other ranks from military and para-military forces) in India. Our Core Philosophy:

The central pillar of our philosophy lies in our belief of 'Doing Good'. 'Doing Good' refers to our continuous and relentless approach to help veterans from the military and para-military forces connect with corporates in getting fulfilling and enriching second career opportunities post retirement from active service. Our 'Doing Good' approach also means that corporates get the best of veteran talent pool, the talent that will add to the workforce diversity and bring in very distinct behavioral DNA along with decades of domain and functional experience.

'Doing Good' approach also manifests into giving our employees a reason to come to work every day by casting an unambiguous policy framework for their career progression and investment commitments into their overall career development. Our value systems and beliefs hinges around, what we call 3’I’:

Integrit: Integrity in everything we do, we look at the business decisions through the lenses of non-negotiable integrity. Intensit: We are passionate people, who love what they do, which brings the unmatched intensity to our work, to our lives and to the faith that our customers puts in us. Intention: We are the people who are on mission with right intent, we want everyone of us to carry intents that will impact our stakeholders positively

Behaviors that are important to us include:

Customer Advocacy: We put customers first and everything else comes after it, for us customer is pivot to what we do, and how we do it. Humility in Behavior and Aggressiveness in Performance: That sums it up, we are bunch of people who are fierce when solving customer challenges, and we love taking risks that are thought through. At the same time, we are humble, modest and direct when dealing with people. We don’t want to swap our values for aggressiveness in behavior and humility in performance. Happiness: What we do is bringing and should bring happiness to our customers, candidates and to all our employees. We love to have fun, exhibit boundless energy, and have happy faces around. We hate any dull moment.

The Sword of Honour at OTA Chennai goes to the single best all-round cadet of the entire course. The Indian Army has been giving this award for decades. In 2010, for the very first time, it went to a woman.

Major Divya Ajith Kumar didn't just receive the Sword of Honour. Before that, in 2008, she was already the All India Best Parade Commander at the Republic Day Camp, the best out of every NCC girl across the entire country, and she was still a college student then.

After commissioning into Army Air Defence, she topped the Young Officers Course and received the Silver Gun Trophy. Best in course, again. In 2015, she led the first ever all-women contingent at the Republic Day Parade, 154 women officers and cadets marching on Kartavya Path together for the first time in Indian Army history. She then served in South Sudan on a UN peacekeeping mission.

Today she visits schools and colleges and tells young girls one simple thing - "If, as a girl, I can do it, every other girl can do it. Just following the dreams is what matters."

First in her course. First all-women contingent. First woman ever to receive the Sword of Honour. Some people just keep making history wherever they go.

M2C salutes you, Major Divya.

Jai Hind.

A soldier hung hundreds of feet in the air during the Gulmarg cable car rescue.

No hesitation. Just someone needs help, and I'm going.

Nobody films the quiet decision that happens before the heroic moment. That's exactly where character lives.

Veterans carry that into every room they walk into. It doesn't show up in interviews. It shows up at 11pm when everything is falling apart and one person just doesn't panic.

They don't perform accountability. They live it.
That soldier probably didn't think he was being brave.
He was just doing his job.

The moral compass of a military veteran: What if your strength becomes your weakness?
I met a veteran friend of mine after exactly one year.
Last year this time, he had just picked up his first corporate job after transitioning from the military.

He used to be a josh machine. Loud. Enthusiastic. The kind of person who lit up every room he walked into.
I met him again yesterday. Same person but a lot quieter, more calculated & reserved. Something had shifted.

During our conversation, I asked him, "What's the biggest challenge you faced settling into corporate life?"
He didn't hesitate to share an honest answer.

"Everyone here is saying one thing and meaning another."
He leaned forward.
"In the military, what you see is what you get. No layers. No hidden agendas. If I had a problem with you, I told you. If you were doing something wrong, I told you. We operated in black and white. There were no shades of gray."

"Here, people smile at you at the coffee corner and backstab you in the boardroom."

I asked him how he was planning to adjust.

He went quiet for some time.
"I don't want to become what I'm seeing around me."
"I don't want to adjust. I want the world to become better. But I know that's impossible. So somewhere in between, I have to find a middle ground. Keep my moral compass intact. Make sure I'm not damaged by the environment. But also not become the environment."

He is not alone.

There are thousands of veterans out there quietly watching everyone around them play games they simply refuse to play.

Office politics is real. Veterans aren't trained for it.
They weren't trained to stab backs. They were trained to protect them.
They somehow adjust to the corporate world. But they never indulge in it.

And maybe, that's not a weakness.

"I don't want to become what I'm seeing around me."
That one line is still buzzing in my head.

India just got its fastest man. 🇮🇳

Gurindervir Singh, Petty Officer of the Indian Navy, clocked 10.09 seconds at the 29th National Federation Cup Athletics Championships in Ranchi - a brand new national record in the 100m sprint, and a ticket to both the 2026 Asian Games and Commonwealth Games.

But beyond the timing, this moment means something bigger. The uniform that defends the nation is now inspiring it too. Whether on borders or on tracks, the spirit remains the same.

A proud moment for Indian athletics.
A proud moment for the Navy.
And a proud moment for all of India.

Military To Corporate - M2C salutes the spirit, speed, and dedication of our champion sprinter.

Fair winds. Fast feet.

Jai Hind.

A remarkable milestone for the Indian Air Force.

Sqn Ldr Saanya has become the first woman officer to earn the prestigious Cat-A Qualified Flying Instructor (QFI) qualification.

An achievement that reflects years of discipline, skill, and perseverance.

Her journey will inspire many young women across the country to dream bigger and push beyond limits.

Proud moment for the IAF and for the nation.

The shortest and most unique job description ever written.
It will give you chills.

"...bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India... go wherever ordered by land, sea, or air... observe and obey all commands... even to the peril of my life."

This isn't just a job description. It's a blank cheque for the nation. The life of a soldier. In exchange for the nation's safety.

I took this oath on 08 June 2002 with hundreds of my buddies, and we are still living by it. And there are thousands more who have.

No negotiation. No notice period. No exit clause.

This is the most irreversible contract a human being can sign.

Now, years later, when that same military person hangs up the uniform,
We hand them a 3-page JD asking for: "5+ years of corporate experience is a must and then reject their resume, saying you don't have relevant industry experience.

A leader who once led men into the unknown, made life-and-death decisions at 2 AM in -20°C, and buried colleagues they called brothers is now being let go, as corporates view hiring someone from outside the industry as risky.

Every time I see this happening, it breaks my heart.
Veterans don't need sympathy.
They just need a chance to prove themselves.

They were an asset in the military; they would be in the corporate world too

Let's not just show gratitude on Republic Day & Independence Day. Let's go beyond and make a real impact.
The least as a country, we can do is give them a worthy second chapter.

AI Can Automate Tasks.
But It Will Never Replace Leaders Who Perform Under Pressure.

The biggest lie being sold in the corporate world right now is:
“AI will replace people.” - NO
AI will replace repetitive work.
It will replace average ex*****on.
But AI will never replace leaders who can perform under pressure.
And that is where veterans stand unmatched.

Today, every company is investing in:
-AI
-Automation
-Digital transformation
-Analytics

But when operations fail…
when teams lose direction…
when pressure hits at midnight…
Who brings stability back?
A software tool?
Or a leader who knows how to take command?

Recently, one of the veterans placed through MilitaryToCorp-M2C joined an organization struggling with:
-weak accountability,
-poor team discipline,
-constant escalations.

Within months:
-Operational discipline improved
-Escalations reduced significantly
-Team coordination became stronger
-Client confidence improved
Not because of presentations or meetings.
Because leadership entered the system.

Let’s be realistic about AI.
-AI is powerful.
-It will transform businesses.
-It will improve productivity massively.

But without strong leadership:
Technology scales confusion, automation scales inefficiency, systems fail under weak ownership.
Because tools do not build culture.
People do.
Veterans bring what technology still cannot create:
-resilience,
-accountability,
-calmness under pressure,
-ex*****on mindset,
-leadership during uncertainty.

The future is not:
“AI vs Humans.”
The future belongs to organizations smart enough to combine:
AI + Veteran Leadership.
That combination will build the strongest companies of the next decade.
