In case you have unutilized ITC lying in your ( ) and you are wondering if you could get a refund of such amount, then please note that the accumulated unutilized ITC can only be refunded in the following 2 cases:

- Zero-rated supplies made without payment of tax
- On account of the rate of tax on inputs being higher than the rate of tax on output supplies (other than nil rated or fully exempt supplies) – Inverted Duty Structure

So the due date for Audit of FY 2019-20 would be same i.e. 30th October, 2020.

TDS deduction Ecommerce (Section 194O)

Kind Attention ECommerce Operator, Auditors and my dear friends,

As per The Finance Act 2020, E-Commerce operators should deduct TDS @1% at the time of credit of the amount of sale of goods, services, or both to the account of an e-commerce participant or at the time of making payment to an e-Commerce participant by any other mode, whichever is earlier.

Applicability from 01.10.2020

No TDS in case of:-

~ Non Resident Participant
~ For Resident if the amount, paid or credited to individuals/HUF during a financial year, does not exceed Rs 5 lakh.

In Case PAN nor Furnished:-

TDS must be deducted at the rate of 5%, as per provisions of Section 206AA.
