As we celebrate 80 years of India’s independence, may we also work towards creating a generation that is educated, empowered, and financially independent.

India has 702 million women. And yet — only 1 in 3 is in the workforce. A 14-point literacy gap. 1.7% cervical cancer screening rate.

We talk about population like it's a number problem. It's not. It's a choices problem. It's a freedom problem.

When a woman can choose her education, her career, her financial future — the data changes. Her family changes. The country changes.

The good news? She's already rising. Women in leadership grew 102% in 8 years. Rural women entering the workforce at record rates.
