📈Anyone who starts down the road to becoming a trader eventually comes across the statistic that 90 per cent of traders fail to make money when trading the stock market. This statistic deems that over time 80 per cent lose, 10 per cent break even and 10 per cent make money consistently.

📉An interesting point about this statistic is that it is not based on geographical region, age, gender or intelligence.

📈Everyone aspires to be in the top 10 per cent who consistently make money when trading the stock market, but few are willing to put in the time and effort to achieve this.

🤔Can multi timeframe analysis multiply returns?
⏳By taking the time to analyze multiple time frames, traders can greatly increase their odds for a successful trade.
🕐Reviewing longer-term charts can help traders to confirm their hypotheses.
🕥The general rule is that the longer the multi-timeframe analysis the more reliable signals are.
🕦As we reduce the time frames, the charts may give false signals.
Ideally, traders should use a long time frame to define the trend of the stocks they are trading.
🕣Once the trend is defined then the traders can use any time frame which they prefer to identify the intermediate trend and a faster time frame to identify the short-term trend.

🎯A gap is essentially a change in prices levels between the close and the open of two consecutive days.
🎯In simpler terms, “gapping” is said to occur in the stock markets when the price of a certain stock, or any other asset for that matter, opens either above, or below, the close of the previous day, assuming there is no trading conducted in between that time.
🎯Therefore, a gap represents an area of discontinuity in the price chart of any given security.
