​വടകര ടൌൺ കോ-ഓപ്പറേറ്റീവ് അർബൻ സൊസൈറ്റിയുടെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ ലോക പരിസ്ഥിതി ദിനം ആചരിച്ചു. പരിപാടിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി മാവ്, പ്ലാവ്, നെല്ലി, വേപ്പ്, കവുങ്ങ് തുടങ്ങിയ വൃക്ഷത്തൈകൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്തു.

​ഓയിസ്ക വടകര ചാപ്റ്റർ പ്രസിഡന്റ് കെ. പി. രാജീവൻ തൈകളുടെ വിതരണോദ്ഘാടനവും, ഒപ്പം വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കായി പ്രത്യേക കരിയർ ഗൈഡൻസ് ക്ലാസും നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് പരിസ്ഥിതി ദിനപ്രാധാന്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ചർച്ചയും നടന്നു.
