“Ya Allah, ye yield ne kya kar diya,
Dow jo magroor tha, ruswa kar diya.”
🚨 DOW JONES | MACRO RISK IS NOW THE REAL STORY
The weekly chart matters — but right now, the bond market matters more.
US Treasury yields just delivered a violent repricing:
🇺🇸 10Y jumped ~14 bps in a single session to above 5.10% — its sharpest daily rise since April 2025.
And this is not just a one-day bond tantrum.
The macro cocktail is getting increasingly uncomfortable for equities:
🔥 Growth remains unusually strong
🔥 Inflation pressures are rebuilding
🔥 Oil is back near/above $100
🔥 The Fed has returned to tightening
🔥 Treasury supply is meeting weaker demand
🔥 Mortgage rates are climbing again
🔥 Geopolitical risks remain elevated
The real danger is no longer simply recession risk.
It is this:
Strong Growth + Sticky Inflation + Expensive Energy + Rising Yields = Higher Cost of Capital
And that is precisely the kind of regime that can force a valuation reset even while the economy still looks strong.
If the US 10Y starts treating 5% as a floor rather than a ceiling, equities may have to reprice an entirely different macro regime.
For the Dow, 51,500 is the level on my radar.
Below that, my broader risk map remains:
🎯 47,818
🎯 43,538
⚠️ 36,612 — extreme macro-stress scenario, not the base case
The bigger message:
The bond market may already be pricing a reality that equities have not fully accepted yet.
Hum kaha se short he malum to hoga 💪🐻
