3-Days Tribal Language Documentation Workshop-Cum-Training Successfully Concludes at Jamshedpur

A 3-day *Tribal Language Documentation Workshop-Cum-Training Program* was successfully organized by *Tata Steel Foundation (TSF)* at *Tribal Culture Centre (TCC), Jamshedpur* from 18th to 21st August 2026
On behalf of *VBMT Odisha (A Sister Concern of Ho Student Unions Odisha)*, our *Turtung Ho Language Teacher* actively participated and documented the rich oral traditions of the Ho community.
The objective was clear:
To save our disappearing Songs, Stories.
The workshop was divided into 3 Major Groups. Our contribution was focused on Story, History & Identity.
*Group-1: Ho Durang / Songs Documentation*

4. Ritual Songs

Group-2: Our Main Theme - Kahani
We collected, recorded and transcribed the Warang Ksh*ti Script.
