Marriage is changing. The idea of being together is changing too. More people are choosing to be in committed relationships without necessarily being tied up in legal & social rules. But while people are making these choices, families and relatives are still left with a lot of questions.
Are you happy?
Who will be with you in old age?
What about your parents?
And, the slightly uncomfortable one: who will inherit your wealth?
It’s not a very pleasant conversation. So we usually avoid it, laugh it off, or push it somewhere under the carpet.
