Events like demonetisation in past or double digit fall in share market now is affecting investors in 2019. It is extremely important for investors to stay focused during uncertainty and perhaps volatile times in the market to achieve future goals. Few biggest mistakes are done by the investors like
𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝘀: Investors always like to invest money in those mutual funds which have performed well in the past and expect the similar return. It is not always correct approach to take as there are other factors affecting it as well and what better than consulting a financial advisor who has more experience and knowledge about it.

𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗼: Since 2016, Equity market started performing well which got a lot attention from investors. There should be a balance so that you are not hit hard during a market fall or when one asset class underperforms.
𝗗𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿-𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗳𝘆: It is advised to diversify but over diversification can be dangerous. Many schemes have over lapping portfolios which can kill returns.
कभी आपने सोचा है की किसान बीज बोने के बाद कितना संयम रखता है।वह सब करता है जो उससे बन पड़ता है जैसे अच्छे से अच्छी खाद और कीटनाशक का उपयोगI वह तब भी प्राकृतिक आपदा जैसे बाढ़ या सूखे के लिए तैयार रहता है। ऐसे समय मैं वही किसान सफल है जिसने कई प्रकार के बीज बोये थे, अगर एक नहीं तो दूसरा ज़रूर सफल होगा।
My suggestion is once invested, stick to it till you meet your goals and do not get greedy or fearful in the market.
