We are thrilled to share that our client Janaadhar India, Bangalore based affordable housing developer raised Rs 77 Cr, Rs 49.5 Cr in Debt (ECB) from Reall and Rs 27.5 Cr in Equity from Tree line Asia Master fund and existing investors.

Janaadhar will use the capital to build over 800 climate-smart houses that are fully certified by International Finance Corporation as green buildings in Ahmedabad. This is Reall’s first financing to an Indian developer in the affordable housing sector.

Unitus Capital acted as the exclusive financial adviser to the deal with Reall and it's been a pleasure to be associated with Janaadhar as they take on one of the biggest challenges of post-pandemic world! Thanks to Shikha Parakh and Emma Ahmed on successfully bringing this deal to fruition.

Unitus Capital is proud to have advised Finova Capital in its latest fundraise of $35Mn in equity from Sequoia Capital and Faering Capital. The company also raised $20Mn in debt from multiple lenders like State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda and Bandhan Bank etc.

This capital infusion will take care of Finova Capital's business plan for the next two years. Pandemic has impacted the credit flow to small entrepreneurs and created a vacuum in the market, this fundraise amid the crisis helps Finova Capital address the massive credit gap in the country.

Unitus Capital acted as the exclusive financial adviser to the deal and it's been a pleasure to be associated with Finova Capital as they enter their next level of growth!

Both Sequoia and Faering are existing investors in the Jaipur-based lender, which lends against mortgages to customers in Rajasthan, Delhi and Madhya Pradesh through its 100-odd branches.
