We were also pleased to welcome Elliott Rae, founder of the Parenting Out Loud campaign, for a discussion that explored modern fatherhood, equal parenting and how supporting working dads can drive gender equality, wellbeing and better outcomes for children.

Today we announced our Q1 2026 Trading Update, achieving record performance, strong trading volumes, good momentum in subscription businesses and high pace of product innovation.

- Record revenue: Total income increased 9.8% to £2.4bn (excl. recoveries)

- Exceptional growth across Markets: Income up 15.5%

- Strong AI demand: 150+ customers connected or onboarding to our MCP server

- Strong revenue growth: up 7.6% on a constant currency basis including M&A to £9.0bn
- EBITDA margin expansion: 50.3%, up 210 bps vs. 2024
- Significant shareholder returns: £2.1bn returned via buybacks in 2025 and announced our largest ever share buyback - £3bn by February 2027

LSEG and UBS have successfully collaborated on a trial to tokenise certain gilt holdings of UBS using LSEG’s Digital Markets Infrastructure (DMI).

In this trial, we digitally mirrored four gilts in a secure test environment powered by distributed ledger technology (DLT), illustrating how tokenisation can enhance efficiency and transparency in financial markets.

The insights gained will help further shape the tokenisation processes supporting the development of next-generation market infrastructure.

LSEG has announced that customers will be able to access its cloud-based historical tick data via Google Cloud's BigQuery and Vertex AI platform. This integration enables financial institutions to apply AI and machine learning technology directly to LSEG tick history data available on Vertex AI, providing users with actionable, data-backed intelligence to inform trading and risk management.
