CreditAccess India Foundation—the CSR arm of CreditAccess Grameen—through the Grameen Vidya Scholarship Programme, supported 1,900+ meritorious students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds.

The programme reached students across 16 states and 1 Union Territory between May and August 2026, helping them continue their education after Class 10 and Class 11 and pursue their academic aspirations.

The programme also supports selected deserving students in pursuing higher education, based on their academic performance and eligibility.

The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to support students in pursuing education and accessing opportunities for their future.

Disha: Career Guidance & Future Readiness Programme Launched in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh

CreditAccess India Foundation—the CSR arm of CreditAccess Grameen Limited—in partnership with Aasman Foundation, has launched Disha: Career Guidance & Future Readiness Programme, an initiative focused on helping Grade 10 students make informed academic and career choices.

The programme was launched in Andhra Pradesh on 27th August 2026 at ZPHS School, Kalyandurg, Anantapur District, and in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, on 3rd September 2026. In Andhra Pradesh, the programme will reach 2,500 Grade 10 students from government and government-aided schools.

Under Disha, students participate in career awareness sessions, self-assessments and structured guidance, helping them understand their interests, explore pathways across Science, Commerce, Humanities, Vocational Education and emerging fields, and plan their next steps after Class 10.

The programme is being implemented across selected districts in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, and will reach more than 11,500 students from government and government-aided schools.

This partnership has previously benefited 28,000+ students across 297 government schools in six states during FY 2024-25 and FY 2025-26, supporting career awareness, self-awareness and planning.

Supporting Special Education and Rehabilitation in Kodagu

Marking the Sixth year of partnership, CreditAccess India Foundation and CreditAccess Grameen’s team visited the Swastha Center for Special Education and Rehabilitation at Suntikoppa and Pollibetta in Kodagu District, Karnataka, on 24th and 25th August 2026.

CreditAccess India Foundation—the CSR arm of CreditAccess Grameen—in partnership with The Coorg Foundation (TCF), supports the centres, which currently benefit 100+ beneficiaries.

The initiative provides free residential special education, rehabilitation, therapy, counselling and life-skills support to children and individuals with disabilities. The programme also includes vocational training to help beneficiaries to develop skills and greater independence.

The team, comprising Mr. Nagananda Kumar H N, Chief Audit Officer, CreditAccess Grameen; Ms. Vinoda T N, Program Lead, CreditAccess India Foundation and members of the CSR and CAGL team, interacted with students, teachers, therapists and the programme team to gain insights into the programme's implementation and ongoing support requirements.

The visit provided an opportunity to reflect on the five-year journey of the partnership and explore ways to further strengthen the programme.

Enhancing School Facilities at Upgraded Government Higher Primary School Nidaghatta, Ramanagara, Karnataka

CreditAccess India Foundation—the CSR arm of CreditAccess Grameen Limited—provided support to enhance school facilities at UGHPS Nidaghatta, Ramanagara
The school currently have around 150 students from LKG to Class 8 and was recently upgraded by the Government.

Based on the identified needs, the support included essential furniture, library storage solutions and sports equipment to support students' learning and recreational activities. The initiative was undertaken to address key requirements and create a more comfortable learning environment for students.

The distribution event was conducted on 24th August 2026 in the presence of representatives from CreditAccess Grameen Limited, CreditAccess India Foundation, the Education Department, Police Department, SDMC and the school, along with students and parents.

Grameen Kanya Suraksha: HPV Vaccination Programme Launched in Maharashtra

CreditAccess India Foundation, the CSR arm of CreditAccess Grameen, in partnership with Jivika Foundation, has launched the second-dose phase of the Grameen Kanya Suraksha Cervical Cancer Vaccination Programme in Maharashtra.
The 2nd phase was launched on 19 August 2026 at Z.P. Primary School, Anchalgaon, Taluka Vaijapur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

The second dose will be administered adolescent girls who received their first dose under the programme, across government schools in Vaijapur Block of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district and Khed and Ambegaon Blocks of Pune district.

The first phase ran from January to March 2026 and covered 28 government schools across these blocks, with 994 girls receiving their first dose.

Across the programme, over 9,000 doses of the HPV vaccine have been administered to date, taking us a step closer to a future where no young woman loses her life to a cancer that can be prevented.

The launch was attended by Dr. Nagesh Savargaonkar, Block Health Officer, along with teams from CAIF, CAGL and Jivika Foundation, school authorities, healthcare officials, parents and students.
