Our vision is to develop a knowledge society, who is capable of taking right investment decision. In a country of 1.2 billion, there are only 20 Million demat accounts and 248 portfolio managers. The direct participation of the retail investors in India’s equity markets is only 1.4% of the population as against 50-55% in developed economies. India has got the highest percentage of savings in the world with about 36 %. About 64 % of the savings in India goes to banks in fixed deposits and 6 % to the capital markets. The proportion of retail investors in India’s equities markets is strikingly low. Less than 1.5 percent of the population invests in securities, compared with almost 10 percent in China and 18 percent in the U.S. Just 2 percent of India’s household savings are exposed to equity; in the U.S., the long-term average is 45 percent. The Sensex gave a return of 17 percent compounded annually between August 2004 and August 2014. That's twice as much as Indians earn from their most preferred mode of financial savings: bank deposits. Still people are afraid of investing in stock market. Reason for this could be Fear of losing or lack of knowledge. We at ARCH Analysts, trying to bridge this gap of knowledge by educating investor or traders.
