Liquidity Sweep — Simple Explanation 📈

A liquidity sweep happens when price temporarily moves above a previous high or below a previous low to trigger stop-loss orders, and then quickly reverses.

Example: Bearish Liquidity Sweep

1. 🔴 Previous High — Many traders place stop-losses just above this level.
2. 🚀 Price breaks above the high — This grabs the available liquidity.
3. 🔄 Price reverses back below the high — This is the actual sweep.
4. 📉 Confirmation — A bearish candle/market-structure break strengthens the setup.
5. 🎯 Entry — Consider a short after confirmation, rather than immediately when the wick appears.
6. 🛑 Stop Loss — Above the swept high.
7. ✅ Target — A previous low or another area where liquidity is likely sitting.
