Basic Stock Market Terms
1.Company- Business Entities-Whose aim is generating Profits

4.Rights Issue-an issue of shares offered at a special price by a company to its existing shareholders in proportion to their holding of old shares.
5.Bonus Shares-are shares distributed by a company to its current shareholders as fully paid shares free of charge.
6.Listed Company -A listed company is one whose shares can be traded on a stock exchange.
7.Delisting -Delisting is the removal of a listed security from a stock exchange.

10.Limit Order- A limit order is an order to buy or sell a stock at a specific price
11.Market Order-A market order is a buy or sell order to be executed immediately at the current market prices

13. GTC-Goods Till Cancelled-.Good 'til canceled (GTC) describes a type of order that an investor may place to buy or sell a security that remains active until either the order is filled or the investor cancels it.
14.Stop Loss Order- Stoploss is a buy or sell order which gets triggered automatically, once the stock reaches a certain price. The aim here is to limit the loss on a security (buy or sell) position. A stop order to sell becomes a market order when the item is offered at or below the specified price.
15.Bull Market-a market in which share prices are rising, encouraging buying.
16.Bear Market- A bear market is when a market experiences prolonged price declines
