Ek interesting business story hai jisme Acrylic Fibre + CPP Films + Ethanol — teeno businesses ek hi company ke andar hain. 👀

Aur numbers aur bhi interesting hain…

📌 FY26 Revenue: ₹1,010 Cr
📌 FY26 EBITDA: ₹119 Cr
📌 FY26 PAT: ₹69.9 Cr
📌 Acrylic Fibre Revenue: ₹587 Cr
📌 CPP Film Revenue: ₹99 Cr
📌 Ethanol Revenue: ₹324 Cr

Company ka grain-based ethanol plant March 2025 mein commercial production mein aaya tha, aur FY26 mein company ne 41,923 KL ethanol produce kiya.

The sharp fall came after IRDAI released a consultation paper proposing changes to insurance distribution and commission structures.

Here’s the simple explanation:

🔹 Policybazaar earns distribution income when customers buy insurance through its platform.

🔹 IRDAI is considering tighter limits on commissions paid to insurance distributors.

🔹 If commissions per policy come down, distributors could earn less from the same amount of business.

🔹 This raises concerns about PB Fintech’s future revenue, margins and profitability.

The market is therefore pricing in the possibility of lower earnings in the future.
