The AI investment boom is creating an unexpected consequence: a growing squeeze in the global memory market.
As semiconductor manufacturers prioritise high-bandwidth memory (HBM) and high-capacity server DRAM for AI infrastructure, conventional memory supply is tighteningโputting pressure on PCs, smartphones and other electronics.
