Он описывает людей, имеющих много профессий или профессиональных занятий одновременно. Например я: investor/HRD/mentor/startup founder/teacher/artist. И ничто из этого я не готова вычеркнуть.

Сегодня не стыдно говорить о своих разных профессиональных ролях и одновременно проявляться во всех них, достигая максимальной реализации и удовлетворения.

Как я уже писала, фокус нашей Lynx Venture Studio Future of work проекты, именно в этой сфере рождаются стартапы, которые предлагают решения для «/-people». Это различные сервисы для креаторов, freelance-и matchmaking- платформы, проекты для удаленных и виртуальных команд. Давая возможность получать реализацию в разных профессиональных областях, мы помогаем людям жить сразу много интересных жизней. И это так правильно.

Office vs Coworking?

During a recent conversation with a startup founder in the coworking and remote team management field Beniamin Khaninaev, we engaged in a lively discussion about the future of remote work and traditional office settings. The question at hand was whether employees would return to regular office work. Let's delve into this topic further.

The COVID-19 pandemic, which feels surreal in hindsight, resulted in a significant surge in remote work. Many experts initially predicted that coworking spaces would lose their appeal permanently, as people might no longer feel safe in shared environments. But is this really the case?
Undeniably, the pandemic had a profound impact on coworking and flexible office spaces. According to the latest statistics from CBRE, leasing for flexible office space in the United States experienced a sharp decline of 45 percent in the second quarter of 2020.

One notable example is Knotel, a New York-based company that reached a valuation of over $1 billion in 2019. However, in January 2021, Knotel filed for bankruptcy and was subsequently acquired by Newmark for $70 million. This acquisition underscores the significant damage inflicted by the COVID-19 pandemic on the company.

WeWork, a shared office space company that made headlines in 2019 with its failed initial public offering (IPO), faced further challenges with the arrival of the pandemic. Its valuation plummeted from a staggering $47 billion to $10 billion, even lower than the $12.8 billion it had raised in 2010. As of May 2022, WeWork's valuation has further dropped to $5.1 billion.

Despite these setbacks, it is important to consider the potential for recovery and adaptation in the coworking industry. JLL, a leading commercial real estate company, projects that by 2030, 30% of all office space will be flexible. This indicates that coworking spaces may still play a significant role in the future of work.

This is a great time to meet Lynx Venture Studio partners. Let's start with Gleb Kovalev - the Chief Financial Officer and a co-founder of Lynx Venture Studio.

Over 14 years of experience optimising and managing financial flows, P&L management, forecasting, operations planning, budgeting. Everything that concerns organising and operating economic processes is like an open book to me. When he joined Unilever in 2004, it was finalising a problematic purchase of Baltimor plants. After some time, he managed to organize a full process of production accounting which led the factory to be exemplary. While he’s been working as a Head of Credit and Factoring Department he's set a transparent scoring model and automated the credit analysis process and also dealt with some distressed cases. He knows how to make efficient plans and execute them, and optimise every economic and legal operation.

I am Shaina Yulia Voloshchuk thrilled to announce that our Fund has undergone a significant transformation and has emerged as a new entity with enhanced quality under the banner of Lynx Venture StudioLynx Venture Studio as of January 2023. Our focus remains on investing in Future of Work projects at an early stage. Our portfolio currently boasts of six innovative ventures, and we are open for more.
