IHLS startups Accelerator

IHLS startups Accelerator The very first military, defense, and homeland security accelerator in the world. iHLS is home to the first Homeland Security Startup Accelerator.

The accelerator seeks companies that offer cutting edge innovations and have dual-use technology advantages (or potential). Through the iHLS accelerator, startup companies are given a platform to jumpstart their innovation and gain company recognition. The accelerator goes through a development and maturation process that offers guidance in marketplace pe*******on, exposure to integrators, investo

rs, and defense industries. iHLS is able to use their knowledge, resources, and connections to break the seemingly impenetrable window that often blocks startups to the military or defense industry. Through this process startups that meet the criteria of being relevant and innovative are turned into leading companies. iHLS helps startups that are accepted to this competitive accelerator to grow and evolve into self-sustaining prosperous companies. Through assisting in the fundraising process and helping to close deals with large defense technology industries these startups will become fully immersed in the security and defense industry ecosystem. The accelerator is now opening its 8th batch receiving around 60 applications and accepting five to ten. Over 70 successful startups have gone through the iHLS security accelerated program and you can be next. Apply if you know your startup has potential to be the next cutting edge security and defense dual-use technology. https://i-hls.com/archives/73659

iHLS operates INNOFENSE Innovation center working in conjunction with the Israeli Ministry of Defense. The goal of this program is to strengthen the connection between startups in the civilian and defense market to the defense industry. The startups will be selected by committee members representing the Innovation center, Ministry of Defense, MAF’AT and IDF Arms. The recruitment process is six months long, during this time startups, INNOFENSE, and the Israeli Ministry of Defense will collaborate to further the development of dual-use technologies. INNOFENSE creates revolutionary and groundbreaking innovations in the defense sector. Making it possible to turn civilian technologies to military ones as well as military technologies to security ones. INNOFENSE will be opening its second batch this year. If you want to collaborate with the Israeli Ministry of Defense and have the backing from iHLS business connections, knowledge and experience in the security and innovation system apply now. https://accelerator.i-hls.com/innofense/

A New Layer in Drone Warfare: Launching Strikes From the Sky: Small FPV drones have become a central tool on the modern battlefield, offering precision strike capabilities at relatively low cost. However, their effectiveness is often limited by range and signal constraints. Operators typically need to launch them close to the target, increasing exposure and reducing operational flexibility, especially in contested environments. A recent field test […]

First Glimpse: Heavy Bomber Seen With Hypersonic Weapon: As hypersonic weapons development accelerates, one of the key challenges has been integration, meaning how to effectively deploy these large, high-speed systems from existing aircraft. Unlike conventional munitions, hypersonic missiles are heavier, more complex, and require specialized mounting and release mechanisms. Adapting current platforms to carry them without compromising performance has proven to be a […]

The Small Interceptor Built to Stop Big Drone Threats: The rapid spread of low-cost, one-way attack drones is creating a growing challenge for air defense systems (specifically the Shahed missiles). These platforms are relatively inexpensive, can be launched in large numbers, and are difficult to intercept using traditional missile-based solutions. The cost imbalance, where interceptors are often far more expensive than the targets, has […]

Your Face as a Password: The Growing Risk Behind Biometric Security: Facial recognition is quickly becoming part of everyday life. From unlocking phones to passing through airports or entering office buildings, systems that identify individuals by their facial features offer speed and convenience. But unlike passwords or ID cards, facial data introduces a fundamental problem: once compromised, it cannot be replaced. At the core of these […]

No Pilot, No Problem: This Helicopter Flies Supplies Into Danger: Supplying forces in contested environments has become increasingly complex. Ground convoys are vulnerable to ambushes and improvised threats, while crewed aircraft face growing risks from air defenses and difficult landing conditions. At the same time, smaller drones often lack the payload capacity needed to sustain units over time. This creates a gap in battlefield logistics, […]

Speed Meets Firepower: The Next-Gen Battlefield Robot: Modern military operations are increasingly defined by speed, flexibility, and reduced risk to personnel. At the same time, forces operating in complex environments, such as urban areas, coastlines, and contested zones, need to gather intelligence and respond to threats without exposing troops to unnecessary danger. Traditional armored vehicles, while effective in some roles, are not […]

How a Small Interceptor Became a Key Layer in Modern Air Defense: Short-range aerial threats have become one of the most persistent challenges in modern conflict. Rockets, mortars, and small drones are relatively inexpensive, easy to deploy, and difficult to intercept, especially when launched in large numbers toward populated areas. Traditional air defense systems, often designed for larger or longer-range targets, are not always optimized to deal […]

When Your Phone’s Location Data Becomes Evidence: Smartphones constantly generate location data, enabling navigation, ride-sharing, and a wide range of digital services. But that same data is now at the center of a legal debate: how far authorities can go in accessing it during investigations. A key issue is the use of “geofence warrants”, which allow investigators to collect location data from […]

A New Way to Stop Drones: Just Listen: As small drones become more accessible and harder to detect, traditional air defense methods are facing growing limitations. Many systems rely on radar or visual tracking, which can struggle with low-flying or slow-moving drones, especially in cluttered environments. This creates a need for additional detection layers that can identify threats early, even when visibility is […]
