theDOCK annual infographic about the state of companies targeting the , & sectors in .

A couple of insights:

- Number of , either born for or have a use case in the sector, keeps growing. When we first published the map in 2018, the number was 37 and increased to over 110 startups in H1 2024.

- 2023-24 was the year for Israeli founders, who proved that resilience is much more than a word. Amid global and local challenges, continued to thrive and accelerate their journey for a better world (note Orca AI 23M A round and WaveBL 37M B round).

It's been a week since the barbaric and unprecedented terror attack by the ISIS-like on our country. It is impossible to watch and overcome the unimaginable scenes and violence. We were encouraged by the overwhelming support of our network and investors community when we shared the news with them earlier last week.

In these dark moments, it's crucial to remember the resilience, strength, and unity that define our nation. Our innovative drive remains unwavering, and Israel will continue to shine as a beacon of technological brilliance and entrepreneurial vigor on the global stage.

We're sharing these pictures of our own Nir Gartzman, who together with his army unit friends (Ret. Navy officers and other comrades), are volunteering to collect food and equipment for our fellow citizens in the south who were temporarily mobilized to safe locations.

Together we will stand strong, supporting one another as we move forward with hope and determination.
