An Garda Síochána has become aware of fraudulent social media advertising, purporting to be from the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau.
Please be advised:
➡️ An Garda Síochána, or any section of An Garda Síochána are not and will never be involved in any compensation programmes for victims.
➡️ Be extremely wary of such ads on social media or any unsolicited calls from people purporting to be from An Garda Síochána.
➡️ Always protect your personal data. Question unsolicited callers as to where they got the phone number, name etc.
➡️ Never download apps based on the advice of unsolicited callers as once installed it gives others remote access to your device.
➡️ An Garda Síochána will never contact you out of the blue over the phone and request your bank account details.
If you believe you’ve engaged with such a scam, please contact your local Garda station.

On this date, SEPA payments and Direct Debits between banks will not be processed. SEPA Instant payments are not affected.

Any payments due on Friday 1st May will not be processed until Monday 4th May 2026, please ensure you leave sufficient funds in your account for these Direct Debits.

We encourage members to make payments early where possible. Payments made on Thursday 30th April (in time) will be processed on Monday 4th May 2026

Incoming payments to your account may also arrive later than usual.

What a lovely surprise we had recently when Nadia and Gerard from Youghal Men’s Shed called in with some fresh, homegrown dill, parsley and lettuce 🌿

We were proud to support their new polytunnel last year, and it’s great to see it already making a difference with some delicious produce!
