Budget 2027: What Are We Watching? 👀
Budget Day is 6 October 2026, and there’s already plenty of discussion about what it could mean for Irish households.
We won’t try to predict what’s coming but there are a few key areas we’ll be keeping a close eye on:
💶 Personal Taxation
Will there be changes that affect take-home pay and household finances?
📈 Pensions
Could we see changes to pension rules, incentives or retirement planning?
💰 Savings & Investments
We’ll be looking for further details on the proposed new Government investment account and any measures aimed at encouraging people to put more of their long-term savings to work.
🛒 Cost of Living
What measures will be introduced to address the financial pressures facing Irish households?
One thing we do know? Your financial plan shouldn’t depend on one Budget.
Tax rules and incentives will change over time. A good financial plan starts with your goals, your timeframe and what you want your money to achieve.
After Budget Day, we’ll break down the key announcements and explain what they could mean for your finances - without the jargon!
