🌍 Celebrating International Credit Union Day!

A big thank you to Paddy Crowe, Catherine McElgunn and Vincent Doyle, three wonderful Premier Credit Union members who helped us officially launch our new Travel Insurance product on International Credit Union Day! ✈️🌍

The fifth annual Circling The Square Festival commences this Friday 16th October at 6.30pm in Bookworm Bookshop, Thurles.
Rita Ann Higgins and Molly Twomey will read from their poetry collections and chat with Larry Doherty about their poetry journeys. All of this interspersed with music from local artists.
Bonus poetry readings by Three Pillars Press Chapbook Poetry Competition winners and runners-up poets will kick things off at 6.30pm. Premier Credit Union is proud to be one of the sponsors for this event.

This Thursday, 15th October 2026, Premier Credit Union is delighted to join credit unions around the world in celebrating International Credit Union Day, a special occasion recognising our members, volunteers, staff and the communities we proudly serve.

To mark the occasion, we warmly invite members and the wider community to join us in our Thurles and Roscrea branches, where there will be plenty of refreshments on offer from 10:30am to 12:30pm and an opportunity to celebrate together.

We are also delighted to officially launch our new Travel Insurance product on the day! 🏆 Junior C Hurling Honours for Loughmore-Castleiney! 🏆

A great occasion for local hurling as -Castleiney GAA and LGFA Club claimed the 2026 Mid Tipperary Junior C Hurling title following their victory over Clonakenny.

Among the standout performers was Cian Hennessy, who received the Man of the Match award from Premier Credit Union Director Patsy Treacy and Premier Credit Union CEO Brian King.

👏 Congratulations to Loughmore-Castleiney on their success and to Clonakenny for their contribution to a competitive final.
