Supporting Acquired Brain Injuries Ireland has been set up by Ian O'Carroll, with the help of his sister Susan. The aim of this page is to bring together like minded

people who understand each other and have had an acquired brain injury. He was in intensive care for a number of months, followed by a stint in the National Rehabilitation Centre. Today Ian works part time in a bank, as he was unable to return to engineering. Ian has a slight speech impediment and the use of just one arm/hand as a result of his BH. Through many phone calls to different associations and web searching Ian has found it hard to find and meet people in the same or similar situation as him to chat to, rant to and just compare stories online, over a pint or coffee. We are hoping that this page will find like minded people who want to get chatting for support and friendship !
