Important legislation to help survivors to complete application, with mortgage protection being a blocker because of previous health history following someone or their spouse.. I agree.. 5 years "right to be forgotton" legislation allows cancer survivors plan for family life better with 5 years legislated as opposed to 7 years.

Cancer survivors and campaigners are calling on the Government to ensure the 'right to be forgotten' is enshrined at five years in forthcoming legislation.

Just back from visiting some jolly nice people in Buckingham Palace in the UK and I see to have developed a new accent.. anyhow tax deadline is looming again for those looking to reclaim 40% taxes paid from 2023...

ROS Pay & File deadline announced

Revenue has announced Thursday, 14 November 2024 as the 2024 ROS Pay & File income tax deadline for self-assessed taxpayers who both pay and file through ROS. The extended deadline will also apply to CAT returns and payments made through ROS for gifts or inheritances with valuation dates in the year ended 31 August 2024.

The Auto-Enrolment Bill was passed on 27/03/24, whereby approx €750,000 PAYE workers between age of 23-60 will be drafted into this new system. A body known as An tÚdarás Náisiúnta um Uathrollú Coigiltis Scoir (the “Authority”) will be established to run the auto enrolment scheme. I think you'd need honours Irish in the Leaving Cert to be in with a chance of correctly pronouncing.. "An tÚdarás Náisiúnta um Uathrollú Coigiltis Scoir."

Good point by Mark Keenan in Irish Independent.. cabins in back gardens will solve a lot of housing issues, why ever not look at new legislation!
