Rathangan Credit Union Rathangan Credit Union is a local, not for profit organisation. We provide a safe place for your savings and a keen lending interest rate.

It all began in 1971 in the Old Church (now the Community Centre) with total shares of £31, today we service over 3,000 members in our new purpose built offices.

Please note that our opening hours for next week starting Monday 6th April 2020 are as follows:

Saturday-CLOSED

COVID-19

Rathangan Credit Union will reduce its opening hours from Monday 29th March 2020 in the interest of the health & safety of members and staff. The new hours are as follows:
Monday 9.30am-1pm
Tuesday 9.30am-1pm
Wednesday- CLOSED
Thursday 9.30am-1pm
Friday 9.30am-1pm
Saturday 9.30am-1pm.

Staff will be available to answer the phones, to take payments or answer any queries until 4pm on any of the above days, except Saturday, they will only be available until 1pm.
Please note that we will not be opening any new accounts during this time to avoid prolonged contact between members and staff.
Please refrain from bringing children into the office.

Covid 19 Information
Rathangan Credit Union are working hard to ensure the health of our staff and members during the current Covid 19 outbreak.
We will maintain office services at the normal level for now, but this will be subject to change over the coming days and weeks. Members are asked to check our website and pages on a regular basis for updates on changes to opening hours.
Staff are available by email and phone 9am-5pm Monday to Friday (excluding Wednesday) and 9am-2pm Saturday
We ask members calling to our offices to practice social distancing in the interest of all.
· Members are encouraged to make payments into
accounts by phone using their debt card.
· Members can pay into their accounts directly from their
bank accounts - please quote your member reference
number if using this facility. Our details are as follows:

We would ask members to have their pay-in slips completed before approaching the counter, as staff will not be handling passbooks.

Borrowing members who experience difficulties with repayments as a result of the current situation are asked to contact the office as soon as possible. Every effort will be made to help all our members.

In the interest of the health & safety of our members and staff, members can lodge to their account by putting a pay-in slip and money in an envelope and placing it in the post box at the back gate to the credit union in the community centre yard.
Also, members can make payments using their laser card by ringing 045 524726.
