Just a small piece of advice for anyone looking or have taken out a moratorium / payment break on their mortgage during the current crisis. What a lot of people don't realise is that the banks will still charge interest on your mortgage while you are taking your 3 month break. After the moratorium you will most likely have slightly increased payments to cover the additional interest. I don't see this advertised anywhere so its best that you are aware. If possible I would recommend, if you can afford it , is to go on an interest only payment for 3 months instead. Barry.
