Great work Alan and the very best of luck to Delta Centre today!

Our colleague Alan Whelan (pictured) along with his client “Delta Centre” are one of the Final 5 Charities in the competition for the Aviva Broker Community Fund.This Friday, they are hoping to scoop the overall prize of € 20,000 for a very worthy cause and Project.

The Aviva Broker Community Fund provides an opportunity for financial advisers/brokers throughout the country to help local charities or community organisations that are making a difference in their area.
The fund, which was launched last September, has €100,000 to donate to 30 worthwhile projects, including €20,000 to the best submission, plus four runners-up amounts of €5,000 to the shortlisted charities.
Three local organisations will receive €10,000 for the best submissions, plus two donations of €5,000 to those shortlisted community organisations, along with €1,000 to 20 charities and community organisations which were not shortlisted.
As the Delta Centre is one of five charities shortlisted, it is therefore guaranteed to receive a minimum donation of €5,000 but, fingers crossed, they can be among Friday’s big winners.
