Excitement is building for the Two Provinces Triathlon this weekend!

Shane Hennelly, Head of Insurance of Hastings Insurance, recently visited Lanesboro to meet with Race Director Andree Gallagher at the River Shannon in Lanesboro this evening to talk about final preparations. Pictured here at the bridge connecting Longford and Roscommon, you can see exactly where the race gets its name as it covers both territories.

The atmosphere in Lanesboro is already electric ahead of the race this Saturday, 11 July 2026, in Lanesboro, Co. Longford.
