The Arch-Confraternity Credit Union has its beginning in the Spring of 1962 when a study group was formed with a view to setting up a credit union for the members of the Arch-Confraternity at the Redemptorist Church in Limerick. Clements Hall, beside the Redemptorist Church and by close of business that night, it had two hundred members and they had deposited savings of over £700.00. In 1970, with the increase in its business, the Credit Union purchased a building at 69 O Connell st., in the heart of Georgian Limerick and transferred the office there. In 1997, the Credit Union changed its bond of assocation to an area based Credit Union.

David is heading to the University of Limerick to study Biological and Chemical Sciences, with a keen interest in how the course feeds into medical research and healthcare. Outside the lecture hall, you’ll find him on the soccer pitch ⚽

It was a fantastic afternoon surrounded by their families and friends along with our staff, members of our board and family members of the late Pat Woods💚

This year’s recipients included Bronagh Pearse, David Oyadeji, Ella Hanrahan, Jade You and Róisín Jordan 👏🏼

We wish them the very best of luck in their education and can’t wait to see them thrive over the coming years.
