Leonie brings a unique blend of financial expertise, leadership experience and people-focused advice to her role at Gallivan Financial. Her career journey is a great example of how diverse experiences can come together to create a well-rounded advisor.

With over 20 years of experience across the financial sector, Leonie has built an impressive career spanning accounting, project consulting and leadership roles with multinational organisations. More recently, she worked in the Personal Insolvency sector, helping clients facing financial challenges regain stability and confidence in their future.

Leonie joined Tara Financial in 2022 as Financial Services Manager and quickly became an invaluable member of the team. Since then, she has achieved both her QFA (Qualified Financial Adviser) and RPA (Retirement Planning Advisor) qualifications, progressing to become a Financial Advisor. Today, she works closely with clients to help them achieve their financial goals through tailored advice, expert planning and a strong focus on long-term outcomes.

One of the things that makes Leonie's approach so unique is her background outside of financial services. Alongside her financial qualifications, she also holds an Advanced Diploma in Pilates Matwork. This experience has shaped the way she works with clients, combining relationship-building, personalised goal-setting and careful planning to help people achieve positive outcomes, whether financial or physical.

Niamh brings a unique blend of creativity, expertise, and client-first passion to her role. Her journey shows that sometimes the most unexpected paths lead exactly where you’re meant to be 🧡

Her story begins with a degree in Dance & Theatre from the University of Derby 🎭 While it may seem worlds apart from financial services, the skills she developed there still shape how she works today. Her background gave her a performer’s ear and a communicator’s touch — helping her listen beyond words, understand the story behind what clients share, and explain complex financial strategies in a clear, calm, human way.

After returning to Ireland in 2015, Niamh committed fully to financial services, completing QFA, RPA, PTP, and CFP qualifications. A reflection of her drive and dedication to high-quality advice and client care 👏

She began her career in financial services in the UK before moving back to Ireland, where she joined Tara Financial and spent 10 years building an exceptional career 🌱 Starting as a Client Services Manager, she progressed to Financial Advisor and later Director / Head of Compliance, all while remaining closely connected to clients — always her main passion.

Today, as Senior Financial Advisor with Gallivan Financial, Niamh is known for her client-focused approach, strategic mindset, and drive to improve. Whether it’s achieving better outcomes for clients, bringing fresh ideas to the team, or supporting a positive workplace, she brings energy and purpose to everything she does.
