🏆 Ireland’s best for customer experience

For the 11th year running, credit unions have been recognised for delivering Ireland’s best customer experience in the 2026 CXi Report, topping both the overall survey and the financial services sector.

Achieving a score of 8.16 out of 10, the result reflects how members experience credit unions, including the value they receive, the service they experience and the trust and relationships built along the way.

Amanda has brought enthusiasm and dedication to her role, making a valued contribution to the Kenmare branch. Highly regarded by colleagues and members alike, she was warmly congratulated on this milestone and wished many more happy and fulfilling years with the team.

We’re delighted to be hosting a Coffee Morning in aid of Kerry Hospice and the Kerry Cancer Bus at our Beech Road office on Friday, 16th October from 10am–12pm. ☕️🍰

We’d love for our members, friends and local community to drop in, enjoy a cuppa and a little treat, and help us support these two very worthy causes. 💙

Killarney Credit Union recognising some very special 2026 milestones.
Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve had the pleasure of celebrating some wonderful members of our team as they reached some truly fantastic work anniversaries.
30 Years of Service
Firstly, we would like to congratulate Therese Buckley on an incredible 30 years of service.
As a Senior Loans Officer, Therese has been an integral part of Killarney Credit Union for three remarkable decades, building friendships, creating memories and making a lasting difference to both her colleagues and our members.
Therese is highly thought of by her colleagues and Killarney Credit Union members alike, and we wish her many more happy and fulfilling years with us.
25 Years of Service
Next on the achievement ladder is John Casey from our Cahersiveen branch, who is celebrating 25 years of service.
As a Loans Officer, John has given a quarter of a century of commitment, hard work and dedication to Killarney Credit Union and the members we serve. John is a huge part of the team in Cahersiveen and takes great pride in providing excellent service to our members.
Congratulations, John, on this fantastic milestone!
5 Years of Service
We were also delighted to celebrate five years of service for Tom Ahern, Financial Officer; Amanda O’Sullivan, Branch Lead in Kenmare; and Noreen Landers, Member Services in Killarney.
Over the past five years, Tom, Amanda and Noreen have each brought their own enthusiasm, dedication and unique contribution to Killarney Credit Union, and we are delighted to recognise and celebrate their achievements.
We were delighted to present each of our colleagues with an award to recognise these special milestones and, most importantly, to say thank you for everything they have given over the years.

Our LCA classes had a fantastic visit to our local Credit Union this week. The students learned about important money matters for young people, including saving, budgeting and smart borrowing. They also enjoyed some lovely treats and took part in a round table game of The Traitors!
A huge thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome, especially Darren and Sheila.
