Great event last night at the Pembroke Hotel to discuss all things Business and Sport — two passions of mine that share so much in common: Teamwork, drive, leadership, and resilience. It was fantastic to see these two worlds come together in such a meaningful way.

During Christmas 2024, Archie and his family had their lives turned upside down when he was diagnosed with the ultra-rare condition, Duchenne MD - Muscular Dystrophy. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy affects between 1 in 5000 to 10,000 people and is a condition that attacks the muscles in his shoulders, arms, hips and legs. If it’s not treated promptly, it will restrict his ability to stand, walk and do everyday activities like picking up and carrying things. It will eventually leave him reliant on a wheelchair. I’ve joined and Kilkenny Fairstone are doing a 5km walk of the Castle Park on Thurs 22nd May. Please help me raise money for Archie to get the treatment and support he and his family need. Together, we’re aiming to raise €150k by June.
