Network Ireland Kildare Branch is a progressive, dynamic networking organisation supporting the professional and personal development of women. Our membership is made up of a very diverse group of women, from budding entrepreneurs, SME owners, professionals and leaders in indigenous and multinational organisations to non-profits, charities, arts and the public sector. We have a strong voice and ar

e interested in promoting diversity and equality, entrepreneurship and leadership development; collaborating with like-minded people and organisations. Established in 1983, Network Ireland has over 500 members, with eight very dynamic branches across Ireland. Through our branch network we organise in excess of 100 events annually for like-minded people to come together to collaborate, share ideas, knowledge and support - most of which are free to our members. We also run a number of flagships national events, including our International Women’s Day Celebration and our Annual Conference and business Awards.

What a wonderful day we had yesterday at the launch of the Network Ireland Kildare Branch Awards 2026, held in our beautiful awards ceremony venue, Palmerstown House Estate, Naas.

Member Spotlight 🌟 I recently joined the Network Ireland Kildare Branch. I’m Mona Sood, a Pharmacist with over 20 years’ experience in Ireland’s pharmaceutical and healthcare sector.

In 2010, I established an audiology clinic providing specialist hearing, tinnitus, and balance services in collaboration with GPs and Consultants. Our clinical services are led by Dr Deepak Kumar, with a strong focus on evidence-based care and patient outcomes.

For over five years, we have also been providing Lenire tinnitus treatment, supporting patients from both Ireland and abroad seeking access to this specialised therapy.

Delighted to announce that Catriona Leahy
Food & Fitness with Catriona has been named a finalist at branch level in the Emerging New Businesswoman category for the Network Ireland Kildare Branch Awards 2026.

Catriona is the founder of Food & Fitness by Catriona, an online coaching platform helping busy parents feel fit, strong, healthy and more confident. As a special needs mom to two autistic boys, she empowers parents to build healthy habits through sustainable nutrition and exercise, inspired by her own journey through motherhood and midlife wellbeing.

Congratulations to Karen Kelly of HeartPath on being announced as a finalist in the STEM Professional category at the Network Ireland Kildare Branch Awards 2026.

Karen is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in heart failure with experience across acute and community cardiology. She has led innovative chronic disease and remote monitoring programmes to improve patient outcomes. She founded HeartPath, a prevention focused platform supporting earlier detection and more accessible cardiometabolic care across corporate and community settings.

This is a wonderful achievement and a fantastic recognition of Karen’s dedication, professionalism, innovation, and commitment within her field. The STEM Professional category celebrates women who are making a meaningful impact through their expertise, leadership, and forward-thinking approach while continuing to inspire others through their work and achievements.
