8th Kildare Allenwood Scout Group We're 8th Kildare Allenwood Scout Group, part of Scouting Ireland. We're based at ACDAL in Allenwood.

8th Kildare Allenwood Scout Group caters for:
- Beavers - Ages 6 to 8
- Cubs - Ages 9 to 11
- Scouts - Ages 12 to 16. The National Lottery, Croi Laigheann Credit Union, KWETB and DYCA are a welcome source of funding to the group. Join our waiting list:

Our Beavers and Cubs kicked off their camping in 2026 with an overnight at our den. For quite a few of our new members it was their first ever time camping. Sadly for our leaders though, the late night didn't prevent a 5am start 🤣
