Well done to the East Wicklow Business Network on a superb event this morning, which we had the pleasure of attending and sponsoring.

Tánaiste and Minister for Finance Simon Harris gave an honest and insightful overview of what we might expect from Budget 2027. Our CEO Michael Byrne shared the many ways credit unions can support and assist local businesses.

The session was rounded out by Vibeke Delahunt from Local Enterprise Office Wicklow and Marie-Louise Marshall, current President of Network Ireland Wicklow on leadership.

Thank you to everyone for the energy and engagement in the room. It certainly shows the spirit and enthusiasm of so many local businesses.

We’re delighted to say that this Friday’s EWBN Business Breakfast with Tánaiste Simon Harris is now fully booked.

With a very strong turnout expected, a few practical notes for those attending:

* Please arrive early to allow time for parking and registration.
* With the number of people attending, parking at the rear of The GRID is likely to be the best option.
* If you’re not already an EWBN member, we’d encourage you to join the network so you hear about upcoming events early and avoid missing out on future events.

And a reminder that our regular Second Tuesday Breakfast Coffee is back next Tuesday at 8.30am at Spendloves. Put that in your diary now and just show up.
