Granard Credit Union were delighted to sponsor the Ardscoil Phadraig student of the year, and huge congratulations to Heather Flynn on her brilliant achievement 🎉🥳
The beginning of a new school year not only brings a sense of anticipation for what lies ahead over the coming months but also provides an opportunity to reflect on the many achievements of our students throughout the year just gone. We begin by congratulating Heather Flynn who was announced as our Leaving Certificate Student of the Year award winner at this years Student Awards ceremony. A past pupil of St.Guasacht’s NS Bunlahy, Heather is a talented musician who demonstrated an unwavering diligence to her studies in all subject areas throughout her six years in Ardscoil Phádraig. As a Transition Year student, Heather excelled in the area of Coding and Computer Science during her completion of the Maynooth University STEM Passport Programme and having achieved an excellent set of Leaving Certificate results, it comes as no surprise to see her continue her studies in Science at ATU Galway this year. Heather is pictured below with her parents Geraldine and Seamus, our Principal Ms.Johnston, Head of Year Ms.Reilly and Ms. Miriam Whittle, Manager of Granard Credit Union who kindly sponsor our Senior Student of the Year award. We wish Heather every success in all of her future endeavours and have no doubt that she will continue to be a fantastic ambassador for our school in the weeks, months and years ahead 🌟
