It is a vibrant City with a reputation for fun, friendliness and creativity. During terms time over 24,000 students attend NUIG, GMIT and GTi and in the summer Galway is popular with tourists and language students.

Private company www,citylink.ie also operates from Shannon and Dublin airports and Dublin City Centre.
