Hi guys
Sorry for the long post but I’ve been wanting to do this for some time and because of recent circumstances I have had the chance to reflect on this more. On Thursday morning I became one of the 331 people in Galway diagnosed with Covid-19, I am perfectly fine except some aches and pains so please direct you're prayers to the people in much worse conditions than me as they deserve it so much more.
Paddy's poutine was one of the greatest experiences of my life, I have memories that will last me a lifetime, learned so much and would do it all again if I had the chance but the time came when I had to make a difficult decision, luckily I was in a position where I had options and chose the option that would allow me to spend more time with my young family and carve out a new career in a completely different direction.
The greatest thing that came out of Paddys Poutine was you, the Community of people that came to the trailer in the Liosbaun, the events all over Ireland and to Dominick street. In my new career, I want to build that again but I completely understand if you are not interested and would like to unlike the page.
From Monday on I will be changing this page to a financial and property advice page, as we face the scary and uncertain economic times ahead of us, I want this to be somewhere you can come for help or advice, on everything from buying a property, getting a mortgage to dealing with debt or engaging with the banks. Unfortunately, our generation is looking down the barrel of our second recession and if I can help by sharing the knowledge I have gained in this industry, I will.
Before Monday I will post the recipe to make at home the most popular item on our menu, the bacon poutine. I want to thank each and every last one of you from the bottom of my heart for making my time with Paddys Poutine some of the best years of my life and hope you come on the next part of my journey as well.
Liam
