Met Eireann have warned of “very strong and gusty southerly winds” over Friday morning as the weather warnings come into effect.

We find ourselves again at the mercy of another weather warning. Yet again another storm.
Stay safe everyone, as there will be a lot of trees, walls roofs etc weakened from Friday storm, so there is extra danger as these weakened roof and trees may come down.
Remember storm damage is covered under your home insurance policy.

The entire country will be under a Status Red wind warning on Friday with the arrival of Storm Éowyn expected to cause significant disruption and “danger to life”, while schools and childcare settings to close.
