Thermal imaging indicates uneven heat distribution to the radiator, with cooler areas noted toward the lower section. This may suggest early-stage contamination within the system.

Recommendation:
Heating system should be flushed and cleaned if required, with inhibitor added in line with best practice to ensure long-term performance.

Heat is evenly distributed across the full panel (~38°C), with no cold spots or patchy areas — indicating the system is clean and operating efficiently.

In comparison to sludge build-up (In picture 1), this radiator shows:

🏠 Common Snagging Issues Identified by SnagSafe: Uninsulated Pipes & Incomplete Groundworks

At SnagSafe, we recently carried out a detailed snagging inspection on a new build property and identified two important issues that every homeowner should be aware of before final handover: uninsulated pipework and unfinished groundworks.

🔧 Uninsulated Pipework

During the inspection, sections of pipework were found without proper insulation. While this may seem minor, it can lead to serious issues if not corrected:
