Good luck to footballers!

Round 6 of the Division 9 Men’s Football League takes place tomorrow evening, Friday May 29th, as our lads make the trip to Simonstown for an 8pm throw in.

The hard work and commitment from this panel continues to grow with every game, and tomorrow night promises to be another big test against strong opposition. The players have shown great determination throughout the campaign and will be looking to put in another big performance on the road.

Away support always gives the lads a huge lift, so if you can make the journey, get out and get behind the team. Your support from the sideline matters.

🌸 A little colour can make a big difference.

As people pass our Killeen Road facility, they’ll now be greeted by these beautiful hanging baskets brightening up the pathway.

With Bloom taking place this weekend and National Food Waste Recycling Week underway, it’s a timely reminder of what can happen when we give organic material a second life.

The flowers are planted using compost produced from food and garden waste collected through brown bins. What starts as grass cuttings, fruit peelings and food scraps can be transformed into a valuable resource that helps plants, gardens and green spaces thrive.

What a finish to this year’s Rás Tailteann for our sponsored rider Conn and the APS Team!

After an unbelievable week, in the Yellow Jersey, Conn crossed the line with his hands in the air to seal overall victory in one of the toughest and most prestigious races in Irish cycling 🇮🇪

And to top it all off, APS teammate Liam Flanagan powered home to win the final stage sprint 👏🔥

An incredible result for the entire APS Team against a stacked international field culminating in winning the Team prize!

A week of attacks, determination, teamwork and grit — and now the Yellow Jersey is coming home 💛

What a day at the Rás! 💛🚴

Our sponsored riders Conn and Matthew have been flying this week as part of the APS Team in this year’s Rás Tailteann — one of the toughest and most prestigious stage races on the cycling calendar.

Today, Conn made his move as part of a powerful attacking group with 20km to go, driving on all the way to the finish to claim the Yellow Jersey heading into tomorrow’s final stage in Dunboyne.

An incredible achievement in such a strong international field, with riders from across Ireland, the UK and Europe battling it out across the week.

Best of luck to Conn, Matthew and the entire APS Team for tomorrow’s finale 👏

A nice piece of cycling history hanging proudly in our head office 🚴🇮🇪

Earlier today we stopped to admire this framed yellow leader’s jersey from the 2004 Rás Tailteann — sponsored that year by Thorntons Recycling.

That edition of the race was won by Irish cycling legend David McCann riding for Team Ireland, adding his name to the famous list of Irish winners of the Rás.

Now, over 20 years later, it’s brilliant to once again have riders we support lining out in the race this week with APS.

Can Conn or Matthew add their names to that famous list of Irish winners? 👀💛

We’ll be cheering them on all the way to Dunboyne this Sunday.
